Time to get Packing!

Time to get Packing!

Jun 12th 2023

Summer is a popular time for traveling and vacations. School is out, the weather is warm, days are longer and who doesn’t need a little rest and relaxation. Packing all the essentials can make your trip more enjoyable, but what about travel regulations? And is it possible to travel with my CBD products?

Making a packing list can be a good way to keep organized and not forget any essentials like sunglasses, sunscreen, or your favorite CBD products. The legal status of CBD varies from country to country, and it is important to know the regulations in your departure and arrival locations. In the United States, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) allows flight passengers to bring FDA-approved hemp-derived CBD products that comply with the 2018 Farm Bill by having 0.3% THC or less. This also true if you are traveling by car in the United States. For international travel, it is crucial to research the regulations of your destination country.

All TWINE products are made with hemp-derived CBD isolate that is THC free. THC free means that when our products are tested the amount of THC is below the non-detect level of 0.01%. You can also access our lab testing results on our website by finding your product and looking under Details and opening the Lab Testing Results tab. This allows you to have documentation showing your products are hemp-derived and farm bill compliant if questioned.

Size is something to consider if you are packing liquids and gels in your carry-on bag. TSA allows passengers to carry containers of liquids or gels that are 3.4 ounces (100 ml) or less. TWINE topicals, beauty serums, and oils are all below this amount except for our CBD Body Butter, which can be carried in your checked luggage. If you are planning to only have a carry-on bag, then travel with our Comfort Cream or Relief Roller.

When packing for the summer consider the weather, your destination, and the activities you have planned to help you pack more efficiently. Pack lightweight, breathable clothing that is loose-fitting to allow air circulation and keep you cool. Maximize your wardrobe options by packing versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched to create different outfits. Rolling your clothes instead of folding them or using packing cubes can help you save space and remember comfortable shoes for exploring and sight-seeing.

Don’t forget other essentials like charging cables and adapter for your electronic devices. A water bottle, portable umbrella, and a backpack or tote bag for day trips can also come in handy. For long journeys or relaxing moments on the beach or by the pool pack your favorite books and magazines.

Plan ahead, consider your destination, do a little research and you should be well-prepared to enjoy your summer adventure!
